The Baby Lock Vibrant is a compact yet powerful model that lacks the automatic features and functions of the company’s more advanced models. The machine has a good selection of stitch options. You can purchase additional presser feet for more involved projects, including a beading foot, narrow and wide blind hem feet, a cording foot, an elastic foot, and a ruffling foot.
Stitch Options
In addition to built-in 2-, 3- and 4-thread overlock stitch options, the Vibrant includes 2- and 3-thread rolled hem, narrow hem and picot stitches and flatlock stitch options, the Vibrant includes a super stretch stitch option for working on very stretchy fabrics. The stitch length is adjustable from 2.8 mm to 7 mm and stitch width can be adjusted between 1 mm and 4 mm.

Adjustable Differential Feed
Having an adjustable differential feed gives you the best control on all fabric types. From sheers to denims. The owner’s manual includes proper tension settings of between 0.7 mm to 2.0 mm. Adding beautiful, even gathers or perfect lettuce edges to a project is a breeze with this feature.
Lay-In Tension System
Manually setting the thread tensions on some sergers is often a hit-and-miss proposition, but the Vibrant features a lay-in tension system that makes it easy to adjust tension settings for use on any fabric type or weight.
