Groz‑Beckert needle systems are standardized for industrial sewing machines, and the 151X7, 151X5, 60M, and 60MSD are all part of the 151X series (curved shank) used in overlock/serger machines and some industrial sewing systems.

• 151X7 and 151X5 are the same needle system; the “X” indicates curved shank, and the number is the needle size (metric).

2. Match the needle system — if your machine uses 151X7, you can use 151X5, 60M, or 60MSD needles.
3. Match the needle size — choose the metric size (e.g., 90/14 for medium‑weight fabrics) based on the material you’re sewing.
